Kusch RE: xp_CmdShell ... I agree that it sounds like the service account that the MSSQLServer service is running as doesn't have permission. Your Email Password Forgot your password? overwrite or delete, files that are opened by another process.
This worked and fixed the problem, HOWEVER, in doing so it made the SQL Server instance only accessible to the local box. ACCESS DENIED !!! Do you mean Network Account or Local System Account? Xp_cmdshell With Username And Password Instead, create a new share on NTTMI or Backup and grant access to that.
