This installed without problem, but again had no effect. So I moved all the files in to the root folder and config the SQL details in the Web.config I can't load the site for some reason. When i tried to refer the DLLs to the BIN folder, it auto refer to GAC. On the production server, the AJAX packages are installed on drive C whereas the web applications run on a separate partition, drive F. I searched this forum, one guy mentioned that Microsoft.Web.Extensions.dll and Microsoft.Web.Extensions.Design.dll need to stay in the bin folder of the application.
