WD external hard Drive interfering... I noticed that my computer was starting to slow down yesterday so I ran a virus check then but nothing came up. That and the BIOS.You could try updating those drivers if something for XP is available for them.Anything that works in Windows 7 32 bit should work in XP 32 bit and weblink Im not happy with either options but I cant stand this freezing and lagging when doing activities on my PC.
Having both slows them down tremendously.If you ended up with a virus somehow in the short time since you installed the OS, that could explain behavioral problems with it. we don't see a good third of the list. Also if I eliminate the "Explorer" process, and type "explorer" in box to get the desktop, the deleted figure again reappears.
I've updating XP again and used 3 different anti-viruses and 4 different adawares, found a few minor ad wares but nothing to be causing this problem. Don't do it by yourself though, because if something goes wrong, you risk frying the PSU or whole computer, or much worse... Arbetar ...
