As I mentioned, the computer use to be able to manage it fine. If you do setup that new profile to try things then first thing you should do is go disable any plugins (under plugins tab in addons manager) you might have installed Observe Chrome dropping 25% of frames using WebM (or significantly higher CPU usage on the average system). I also tried disabling all my addons, but there was no difference, I also tried using the FLASH youtube player instead of the HTML5 but still no different.

They used to watch videos just fine; now, with vp9, they can't watch even 360p videos because they just stutter, making them to donwload the video and convert it to mp3
