In order to ensure that its DS-integrated peer DNS servers are able to replicate with this server, an attempt was made to update them with the new records through dynamic update. I guess playing with adsi-edit and looking in the DNS repositories could resolve the problem. I was having trouble with allocation of IP addresses from the DHCP Server, and network connection problems (network not available). It is a known issue for Active Directory Forests built before Windows Server 2003 SP1 that the Forest Root Zone could be missing.
Following are some of the reasons you would see this warning. FRS can not correctly resolve the DNS name update.mesi.org from this computer. FRS is not running on update.mesi.org. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process.
