any solution? I believe some of the directories in /usr/share/asterisk were owned by root:root and I changed that. All files are owned and Read-Write for asterisk.... I see one thing as you installed it at /var/www/html/pbx instead of the default /var/www/html. Source
did i miss anything important, or is this the trick to stay with apache-defaults? Occurs during first logon to dashboard after install completes. Thanks. Everything is ok and all works well but every time I apply and reload I got this error. It's not a permission problem I put that file even in 0777 but still
several of the other warnings you were running into, mostly from Pear but one from ours, appears to be a result of having a very high level of error warnings on After some more searching I found the instructions in the wiki (http://www.freepbx.org/trac/wiki/UbuntuServerIntrepid) and although at first glance they appear to be a copy of the instructions I followed at ubuntuforums.org, they Please use the instanceof operatorNon-static method DB::isManip() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible contextNon-static method notifications::create() should not be called statically[/code:1] Unfortunately, there is no detail on which I installed and did yum upgrade before applying changes and such for FreePBX.
I don't understand why a few people at freepbx.org think they know better than the hundreds of thousands of linux users who years ago discovered package managers and the peace of Either it does not have permission to read the file or write it. I got that error and I've told how I got permission.I don't know how all permission have to be set by default, so I've asked to the forum. I would suggest trying to execute 'amportal chown' on your system to clean up any possible file permission issues.

There are several locations that files are stored and re-copied when changes are applied. Ran fwchown, errors still exist. http://issues.freepbx.org/browse/FREEPBX-8987 Maybe I have a setting wrong elsewhere?
Track what is changed, look at the amportal command code and read it. The bug is not harmful but hte alternative is that we need to pull the whole pear DB library as part of the FreePBX distro and fix their bug, which has http://www.freepbx.org/trac/ticket/2138#preview gbutters 2007-07-22 23:36:14 UTC #9 p_lindheimer: btw, more detail here - update the ticket or here as appropriate, I'll role the fix if you verify the first line gets rid Failed to copy from module agi-bin Retrieve conf failed to copy file(s) from a module's agi-bin dir: mkdir(): File exists Added 1 minute ago (retrieve_conf.CPAGIBIN) #1 ustelephone, Jun 9, 2011

It looks like it's a hand build with things not setup correctly from what little you've provided. mcmerfy 2009-04-13 05:45:38 UTC #16 I am install FreePBX on Debian 5.0 and have same problem toochmod(): Operation not permittedchmod(): Operation not permittedchmod(): Operation not permitted Can you help me where p_lindheimer 2007-07-23 09:11:42 UTC #14 gbutters: p_lindheimer: gbutters:was that with the ini_set('display_errors', false); added?Yes can you try this line and tell me what results you get:[code:1]ini_set('error_reporting', E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE)[/code:1]The issue we have a peek here Geez... :|) and Zimbra, so I'm sticking with Hosted Exchange for now (I like to have a couple of features of Microsoft Exchange -- I don't care if Microsoft Exchange is

I don't like to do this, but I'm thinking that my last, and only choice, is to change ownership for /var/www/webaccess to asterisk:asterisk, but that is an alias for /usr/share/zarafa-webaccess and CentOS has it's package manager and we have to reconfigure for it also. No, create an account now. Have you tried to run the "amportal chown" command to make sure everything that FreePBX knows about has it's permissions set correctly? Thanks. Still getting the error. Check This Out The problem is that when the freepbx installer asked me some of my file locations, I think I got one wrong, i.e., accepted the default incorrectly.
Yes it is a design issue with asterisk and the proper place to address it is with them over at asterisk.org. kingtux 2008-03-04 14:13:18 UTC #7 Hmmm not sure what you mean?? So, I'm completely out of luck with Zaarafa (I do get mixed up with spelling out "Zarafa" with "Zafara." Who came up with that name? System is Ubuntu 8.04 server x86_64 with all other packages from the standard ubuntu repos.
FreePBX® is a registered trademark of Sangoma Technologies, Inc. Literally Redhat CentOS (nor RedHat CentOS) doesn't exist (maybe existed years ago?) since CentOS (and similar distributions like SL) uses Red Hat Enterprise Linux as TUV ("The Upstream Vendor (TUV)"). Errors show immediately after distro install. and when I have free time I try and help but since doing that has a inverrse impact on my home life and getting paid at my real job.....

If you choose to run apache and asterisk as different users, then you are going to have to understand enough about linux and permissions to help yourself get it working. Again I'll ask which hand build directions used, deviations from directions, etc. Ran fwchown, errors still exist. I changed it to asterisk in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and all seems well now.
kingtux 2008-03-07 19:36:25 UTC #8 so what are the permission for this suppose to be?? p_lindheimer 2007-07-23 19:47:55 UTC #19 ok, you should do the online update of Framework 2.3.0beta2.2. However, I want to use Zarafa AND FreePBX, I just don't like having to change the Apache User and Group to asterisk.
