After system restart open networking properties of any adapter, click “install” button, select “services” and then “Virtual Machine Network Services” (see picture below). You can also clear the saved state using the Device Emulator Manager.
The other option is to Clear the saved state using the emulator. You can install Virtual PC 2007 from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=46859 This might be frustrating, because you remember that just few days ago all was working fine.
