I plugged in the network cable and here I am. I have also found that if I go into safe boot, and uninstall *any* programme, the PC will boot normally, but subsequent reboots fail. If it comes down to my only option I'll get it done, but I want to make sure it cannot be fixed otherwise - as it may not even fix whatever
