I bet your right, guess I'm just being parnoid/stupid, things have been rough yada yada yada. If you face problems ranging from blue screens to inability to open, save files or folders, you should run chkdsk.exe. It may be something you want to do when you don't need your computer for a few hours. Once it runs it destroys the MFT and it cannot be rebuilt with anything I can find.
