Windows XP Setup will now delete the necessary system files from the Windows XP installation that is currently on your hard drive. After the Repair install is completed, enable the XP firewall or install third party firewall software or router before connecting to the internet. If you are unable to start up your XP system normally, you can try running System Restore with Windows running in Safe Mode as described above.
