On Vista, using this workaround, there is only one printer and this has two ports that can work. I tired HP's phone support two different times (1 hour each time) with no help from them. My suggestion would be to completely uninstall (remove) both Avira and Spybot and reboot and see if your printer access magically returned. thanks!!! Take control of your files and folders with AB Commander file manager for Windows 10,8,7,Vista, and XP. Clck on Printers and Devices 4.
I have added STUDY\Everyone with all perms enabled. XP Home does not have User accounts that can be added as in XP Pro and W2K Pro.
